Larry Flynt: He's paid his dues

Gloria Steinem goes after Larry Flynt but she forgives Clinton as a fun-lovin' guy. Oops, Gloria. Your class bias is showing. Hustler apologizes to Sheila Copps. injusticebusters don't personally find Hustler's material edifying or titillating. In fact we find it nauseating to contemplate grown men jerking off to pictures of women being humiliated. But the way we see it, Larry has paid his dues and we have a shot at persuading him to refine his tastes as long as we have free speech. One Larry Flynt on our side is worth a thousand mealy-mouthed hypocrites.

The sad fact is that "what turns us on" gets programmed when we are young. The material from advertising and media we've all been hit with for the past couple generations is far more pernicious than anything Larry could dream up. That goes for Disney and Coke - in fact all the soft drink pushers - and promoters of fast food (see McDueck's ) and fast cars. injusticebusters provide an alternative for people who can still read and whose minds have not become totally softened by junk.
