Pictures from the park: injusticebusters & Treaty Day

Saskatoon by the river on a sunny June day is as pleasant and relaxing as anywhere in the world. At night, this same scene has been the setting for many muggings and assaults. It is still not safe at night. But during our first setting up camp on June 16, the day was perfect. We spoke to police who came by: some were intelligent and friendly; some were not. We gathered signatures in support of community policing. Most people signed; some expressed fear of reprisals.
