Canada's War On U.S. Gangsta Rappers
A Tale of Sex, Lies and Gangsta/Racial Profiling

DETROIT/EWORLDWIRE/Oct 11, 2004 --- Jerome Almon of Murdercap Records has become the first and only American to ever be called before the Canadian Human Rights Commission.

Almon has been asked to submit a witness list for the upcoming tribunal where he has alleged and has absolute proof that Canadian Customs and Immigration has been racially profiling black Americans in a wholesale-directed fashion - specifically black rappers and other black entertainers. This will add another scandalous layer to the already gigantic scandal that racial profiling has become in Canada over the last year.

Almon has also asked the CHRC to obtain answers to the following questions:

-- Does Canada have a Rap Squad as do Miami and New York?

-- Is Canada applying or attempting to apply the laws against gangsterism (a crime in Canada) to U.S. rappers?

Names on the witness list will include Gangster rappers DMX, Jay Z, 50 Cent and The Blakkattakk, Secretary of State Colin Powell, Calif. Governor Arnold Swartzenegger, Candian Defense Minister Bill Graham, Minister for Immigration Elinor Caplan and Dennis Coderre, Toronto Star reporter Vernon Clement Jones, MP's Libbie Davies and Carolyn Parrish, Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Wilson Pickett.

Background
Over the past year incidents of gross racial profiling at Canadian ports of entry have been revealed to the Canadian public, including:

--DMX arrested and deported

--Wilson Pickett strip searched

--The Selwyn Pieters incident and settlement

--Blacks make up 80 percent of secondary inspections at land crossings while whites make up two percent

-- Jay Z and 50 Cent were victims of racial/economic profiling

-- Senator Carl Levin's letter on Almon's behalf (it is devastating to the opposition)

-- Canada's Rodney King incident

The Tribunal will pit the U.S. State Department, the Hip Hop Community, Governor Swartzenegger, the Congressional Black Caucus, U.S. Senator Carl Levin and Murdercap Records against the Canadian Minister for Immigration, the Canadian Foreign Minister, the Toronto Film Industry, and Canada Customs and Immigration. Due the nature of the allegations against Almon and the allegations he has made, the Tribunal promises to be salacious, extremely controversial, and to be more devastating to Canadian tourism and the entertainment industry than SARS, and quite embarrassing to the Canadian government - the economic losses have already started to mount.

Plan Of Action
Almon has formally asked Secretary of State Collin Powell and the Congressional Black Caucus to address the matter directly with the Canadian Ambassador to the United States and the Canadian Foreign Minister, as these Canadian Officials have directly addressed allegations of U.S. border agencies profiling Canadian Arabs and East Indians on many occasions.

Almon has also asked the Congressional Black Caucus to issue a travel advisory to its Black constituents.

Index to Saskatoon Police stories

This is a pretty good scrapbook for the 1998-2002 period.

Hatchen and Munson: These two drove Darrell Night to the edge of Saskatoon on a freezing January night in 2000. They were found guilty of unlawful confinement, did some time and are acknowledged by the Saskatoon Police Service for each having served for 17 years. The Police Association stood by them and paid for their defence until they were convicted. Only then were they fired.
